Aloha, The Spam Musubi. Hawaii’s Iconic Snack. We call it The Snack of Champions.

Spam, the Canned meat that help win a world war, became a staple in Hawaii. Humble beginnings when Japanese immigrants wanted a quick snack. They put rice called nigiri then added spam and wrapped in seaweed. Salty, sweet, perfect rice, Wow! ONO! as we say, here.

So many variations a must try when in Hawaii. Find them in most grocery Stores, Woodland, Safeway and Minute Stops . My personal favorite ABC Stores! All over Hawaii!! Try the Chicken Katsu Musubi!!
